Our client is a fast-growing scale-up committed to helping protect the financial system on which millions of people depend. 

They are now seeking an Operations Director for their Barcelona team; this role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions in Spain. The Operations Director will collaborate closely with the CFO and Senior Management to align operational activities with the company’s objectives, always ensuring effectiveness and efficiency. 

  • Full professional level of English

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. 
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.
  • Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to improve productivity and quality.
  • Manage resource allocation, including staffing, equipment, and technology, to optimize operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. 
  • Address client issues and concerns promptly and effectively. Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high service standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement corrective actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the BPO industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and achieving performance targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
