Our client is a tech startup offering growth services to mobile app businesses. With app developers and publishers as clients worldwide, they have 3 Hubs (Warsaw, Barcelona, and Virginia) and are now looking for a Head of Media Buying (Ad Operations) to join the team and lead the media buying efforts on their proprietary DSP platform.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the media buying process, directly managing and executing campaigns on our DSP platform. Utilize your deep understanding of performance marketing to optimize campaigns and drive significant results for our clients
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly performance data. Identify trends, issues, and opportunities, and leverage these insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and implement advanced optimization strategies to maximize return on investment. Continuously test and refine approaches to ensure the highest possible performance of campaigns
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to define and exceed KPIs and performance targets
  • Oversee all aspects of ad operations, ensuring the seamless execution of campaigns, adherence to industry best practices, and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the competition
  • Mentor and develop junior media buyers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Lead by example, promoting best practices and a results-driven approach to media buying

Core Skills/experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a Data Scientific field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media buying, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns and delivering exceptional results
  • Hands-on experience with DSP platforms, with a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and programmatic buying
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. A results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities with eas
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
