Our client has changed the way student accommodations work around the UK and now they are ready to expand themselves to Spain, ensuring not only the best student experience on the market but also the safest place to live. 

They have reimagined the way we live to put student health, safety, and wellbeing first. As a Sales Student Accommodation Specialist, this person will be performing viewings of the students' residencies, as well as doing outbound sales through different channels for potential students interested in Barcelona.

Effective and collaborative working relationships with local teams in Spain are necessary, as well as with a global sales and marketing department that employs teammates in Manchester, Dubai, and Shanghai as part of a wider international strategy.


Main Responsibilities

  • Spreading the brand awareness around the city of Barcelona.
  • Engaging with the student audience and representing the brand inside and outside the show of the apartment/marketing suite.
  • Following up on all inquiries and leads with a view to securing lettings for the accommodation.
  • Conducting viewings of the studio apartments to all interested parties.
  • Supporting the marketing team by attending housing fairs and any other on-campus activities or student hotspots.
  • Gaining general knowledge of all the residences to conduct remote outbound sales.

Core Skills/experience

  • A native level of Spanish and English is required.
  • Other languages such as Mandarin will be a big plus.
  • University degree or the equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience. Previous experience within the hospitality or education sectors will be valued. 
  • Knowledge of the city of Barcelona is a must, as well as to have been a student in the city.
  • Sales-minded candidate with a hands-on style of work.  
  • Ambitious and people-oriented individual, able to achieve monthly targets.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with students.
  • An organized person, who can deliver an exceptional work ethic approach.
