Wallapop is looking for a Martech/Adtech specialist with a passion for driving business growth. You’ll be part of the Marketing Strategy team and work closely with Paid digital, CRM, Offline and Analytics teams to ensure the best contribution to the company goals. Wallapop is now on the way to putting in place an omnichannel strategy based on automation and personalization and we need our key player when it comes to marketing stack orchestration to make it happen.


Main Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and proactively implement best practices regarding measurement and privacy, being the main point of contact for Martech/Adtech partners (Adjust, TVsquared, etc.) and aligned with CLM automation specialists.
  • Drive for greater automation of manual processes in the paid digital, social and offline teams using current and/or new tools to automate budget allocation, automate campaign creation and optimization, improve creative scalability, etc.
  • Manage the integration of new and existing 3rd party tools to ensure audience and event data quality.
  • Maintain events and campaign naming convention updated and consistent across all channels
  • Create and maintain audiences in our CDP (mParticle) to be used across Digital and CRM channels.
  • Interpret the technical requirements of the Marketing team and centralize requests to Tech, Marketing Analytics, or Product Analytics teams.
  • Document and communicate proactively to stakeholders.
  • Support the Marketing team with tracking issues (deep links creation, trackers, costs integration...) to improve our attribution data.

Core Skills/experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Digital/Online Marketing, or other analytical degrees such as engineering/mathematics.
  • Proven years of experience in a marketing or analytical role.
  • Proven understanding of marketing and business concepts like conversion, optimization, attribution modeling, segmentation, media planning, or customer lifetime value.
  • You have worked previously with a CDP, attribution tools and/or advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Search Ads, Facebook or DV360.
  • You have worked previously with data visualization tools such as Looker, Google Datastudio or Power BI.
  • Having worked preferably in app environments.
  • You're not afraid of help centers and love reading documentation in order to get the most of any Martech platform.
  • You understand the needs and you're able to find the best solution with the current stack or with any new tool needed.
  • You can judge when a topic requires 100% and when 20% is sufficient (Ability to prioritize and estimate the needed dedication, as well as...) to slice big projects into smaller pieces and make your work and progress transparent
  • You can easily connect and collaborate with a diverse set of people across levels and backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in English is an asset, and Spanish would be a plus.

Our recruitment process

1. Intro Call - ran by talent acquisition. It will take 30-45 minutes and will focus on giving you more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience and expectations.

2. Expertise interview - run by the hiring team, focusing on hard skills and domain knowledge required for the role. This usually takes 60 minutes.

3. Stakeholder interview - run by relevant stakeholders. The focus will be on assessing your ability to apply your skill set collaborating with other functions to the Wallapop context. This usually takes 60 minutes.

4. Competency Interview - run by talent acquisition and/or hiring manager. We will focus on gaining insights and understanding of how you operate in the workplace and your fit to our values. This usually takes 60 minutes.

5. Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
