We are looking for an HR Director to join an international company located in Barcelona.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership to the HR partner team in the Southern region
  • Providing expert guidance to the HR team and business
  • Collaborating closely with the wider HR group to ensure the HR approach is consistent with the Global and Regional HR goals
  • Reviewing processes and practices, adopting a standard approach where possible
  • Ensuring policies and practices are compliant with legal frameworks and the company's standards
  • Ensuring the HR model is clearly defined and communicated across the region
  • Providing HR leadership to the businesses and teams on a broad range of strategies and initiatives that lead to competitive advantage
  • Contributing to the profitability of the business and supporting organizational development through both cultural alignment and organizational restructuring
  • Identifying and drive necessary cultural change through HR practices (management development programmes, compensation...)
  • Fostering process optimization, simplification, best practice sharing and consistency in the HR function

Core Skills/experience

  • Strong experience as an HR Director in an international environment is a must
  • Success in HR strategy design and solid management level
  • Inspirational leader, comfortable empowering his / her team and providing clear direction to it
  • Strong understanding of employment law and knowledge including exposure to Works Councils/Unions in Spain/Portugal
  • Experience of providing HR solutions on a European level
  • Consistent record of success in delivering challenging objectives to time and budget
  • Experience in Talent Management and D&I
  • Excellent communication skills
  • HR qualification or relevant degree
  • Knowledge of HR tools (i.e. personality profiling) and their application is a plus
  • Flexibility for travelling
