Accounting Manager w/ Native Level of Spanish

Our client is looking for an account manager for their markets worldwide. You will oversee the accounting department, focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reports. You will be responsible for managing the Operating Cash Flow and the Taxes of the Company and the relations with external parties. If any new project will arise within the Finance department, you will be supporting as well. 

Main Responsibilities

- Manage the Accounting Department in accordance with GAAP and company
policies and procedures
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions of the Group, including, but
not limited t: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and treasury
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closings and
reporting
- Oversee and monitor all the Legal Entities from a Balance Sheet standpoint
- Manage the Cash Flow on a daily basis as well as building reliable forecasts and
projections on a medium / long term basis
- Manage the Taxes of the Group and the different subsidiaries (VAT, CIT, Transfer
pricing, etc)
- Review of Accounting and administrative controls
- Ensure that Company’s Internal Control principles and Procedures are applied and
followed across the different departments
- Liaison with fiduciaries and local accounting firms
- Liaison with mother company Head Quarters
- Manage the relations with external parties such as banks, advisors, public
administration, fiduciaries and/or local accounting firms
- Liaison with local Administrations, notaries and other administration third parties
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at
year-end
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Provide monthly analysis on department expenses
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training,
and maintaining strong employee relationships

Core Skills/experience

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Excel skills
- Process optimisation oriented- • Strong prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of organization
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Ready to embrace change
- Problem solving and pro active mindset
- External Audit experience

A plus if you have:
- Experience with Salesforce
- Big 4 background
- US GAAP knowledge
- SOX experience
