Our client is a leading provider of data protection and recovery solutions from the USA that assure organizations their data can be recovered whenever necessary. Founded in 1990, this company provides a comprehensive solution for virtual and physical environments, backed by excellent support and expertise to more than 40.000 users around the world.

Working for almost all European markets from their office in the economic heart of Barcelona, they are now looking for someone who can manage the existing client portfolio and assess their satisfaction with the different software products. This position plays an essential role in increasing the client's efficiency by finding a suitable solution for their data.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contact existing client portfolio and present proposals to secure commitment to renew engage in limited price and term negotiations if necessary
  • Renew, upsell and migrate booking quota goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Develop a unique follow-up methodology to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of account or territory assignments based on an understanding of the sales opportunities
  • Manage the whole renewal sales cycle by initially qualifying and then work closely with the appropriate Account Manager/Director for follow up
  • Maintain and expand skills in sales techniques as well as the company’s products, industry and market in general
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, etc.

Core Skills/experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in Account Management
  • Interest in IT and the tech sector
  • Customer service and relationship building skills
  • Delivery of quality client service to customers. 
  • Ability to work in a high-energy environment
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Thirst for knowledge and desire to grow within the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree is an advantage and or related field or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge, and abilities
