Our client is an award-winning start-up with customers in 70+ countries, and they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Account Executive to join their team to help them take sales to new heights. As a key member, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, and driving revenue growth within your assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients within the designated sales territory using a multi-touch engagement approach, including cold calls, email outreach, and participation in industry events
  • Manage a sales pipeline consisting of leads generated from both inbound and outbound channels, guiding prospects through the full sales cycle from initial contact to successful closure
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to gain a deep understanding of each prospect's business challenges and objectives, and provide tailored solutions to fulfill their objectives
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and industry expert
  • Stay ahead of market trends and positioning yourself as a go-to resource for clients seeking insights and guidance
  • Drive negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets, leveraging your expertise and persuasive skills to secure profitable business agreements

Core Skills/experience

  • 5+ years of experience in selling software to Banks, Hedge funds, and other financial institutions. Ideally including an initial network within the relevant client group. 
  • If no tech sales experience: Strong experience in a complex sales position in the Banking/Finance Industry
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles and overcome objections. (from cold calling to closing deals)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to travel up to 5 times per year
