Our client is a multinational that provides industrial gases across a wide range of industries from food and beverage to medical, energy, and transportation. They are currently looking for a Senior HRBP who would contribute to supporting the designated Business Unit to align business objectives with employees and management. 

The role will require to build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization.  It is also expected that the HRBP has a good knowledge of the Spanish labor law framework to support and provide necessary advice when needed. The HRBP will act as a liaison within the HR team to review, discuss and support on regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be a partner of the Businesses applying the policies, processes according with the legal requirements or current regulations in each country
  • Participate in the strategic planning and vision with the Management Teams, providing support to the businesses with strategic vision
  • Act as a Change Management agent, supporting organizational/cultural changes 
  • Mentor and coach leadership team on employee relations issues and provide guidance consistent with company policies, procedures, and practices and industry best practices.
  • Participate in the development and establishment of department goals, objectives, and systems that directly impact HR strategy and overall business plans of the company
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal advisors as needed/required

Core Skills/experience

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role with broad knowledge and experience
  • Master’s in human resources management or other specialisms within the HR spectrum is an asset
  • Experience in the Chemistry / Pharmaceutical sector will be a big plus
  • Previous experience leading and implementing HR Projects
  • Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business setting is required
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills in English, including the capability of providing direction and feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good leadership skill set with experience of people management.
  • Ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and further development of skills
