Our client is a start-up created in 2020 based in Munich, Madrid, Barcelona and Prague led by Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Developers. 

We are looking for a Principal Data Scientist to be key in the development of AI product functionalities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project lead of both product and laboratories features
  • Decide and data science modeling strategy and define coding approach
  • Direct contact with clients and understand their needs
  • Guide of multidisciplinary teams of data scientists and developers
  • Decide team priorities
  • Guide daily stand-up meetings of your team and sprint planning sessions and manage capacities
  • Define responsible and QA of features and deliverables
  • Manage conflicts across the functions of the team (DevOps/AI/DB/FE/BE…)

Core Skills/experience

  • More than 7 years of experience as Data Scientist.
  • Background in data science consulting or in product development.
  • More than 5 years working with Python, R, SQL.
  • More than 3 years working with supervised-unsupervised-deep learning (ML methodologies)
  • Experience with leading projects and multiple teams
  • It's a plus: APIs, AWS Lambda, Step functions.
  • It's a plus: Master's in Data Science or Machine Learning.
  • It's a plus: experience in AWS environment
