The Lead SAP Architect will work as a member of the Global Product Architecture team and be in charge of a portfolio’s product development and upkeep inside the Multi-Country Payroll solution of our customer.

Main Responsibilities

  • This position calls for a high level of technical SAP and ABAP programming knowledge and responsibility for architectural strategy and direction.
  • You must be an authority in creating SAP applications and possess a solid understanding of SAP ABAP programming, with a focus on ABAP HR/Payroll.
  • Technical architecture, analysis, solution design, ABAP coding and debugging, configuration, and testing are the main areas of responsibility. Based on reported faults and authorized business needs, the position employs established methods to improve and fix functionality.
  • It is essential to be fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • It is expected of the Lead Software Engineer to set priorities and work on their own.
  • This position is anticipated to work autonomously depending on project assignments.

Core Skills/experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar technical subject is required.
  • 8-10 years of exceptional SAP ABAP Development experience in one or more SAP modules (ideally HCM) is required.
  • Working experience as a Lead Engineer / Architect
  • Experience with ABAP in an S4/HANA environment, as well as Object Oriented Programming, CDS, AMDP, and RAP.
  • Experience integrating with other systems using Rest APIs, RFCs, and Odata Services.
  • Experience designing and developing SAP Fiori UI5 applications is a bonus.
  • Prior experience working in an agile environment and with technologies such as Jira is a plus.
  • Excellent ability to transform core business needs into design and solution with a global perspective.
