Our client is an American multinational corporation with a headquarters in Barcelona. They are looking for a profile for the management and support Windows infrastructure, including network, cabling, desktop, peripheral, and software installations, changes and troubleshooting. Provide system and software support and assists in the development of procedures and documentation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides Active Directory System and Windows server management, including user access, setup, and configuration.
  • Assists in managing the corporate backup system, including backup job creation, modification, and validation.
  • Oversees the connection with software and hardware vendors, including pricing negotiations, lease-buyout choices, system assignments, and software capabilities.
  • Manages service requests for new installations, modifications, break/fix, and troubleshooting from management and end users.
  • Creates policies, instructions, manuals, and tutorials.

Core Skills/experience

  • Computer science bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
  • English proficiency is required.
  • At least 5+ years' minimum expertise with Windows operating systems and associated software, such as MS Office programs.
  • Strong communicator who is highly driven to complete projects on time and with minimum supervision.
  • Working knowledge of network/systems monitoring tools
