In 2025, they will open a new production plant in Felgueiras and are seeking a Controlling Business Partner to implement the finance factory set-up within SAP, ensure proper financial flows and closing, and support the financial annual cycle of the plant. After the ramp-up phase, the role will evolve on a pure Business Partner role contributing to performance improvement. You will be part of this project from the very beginning, leveraging your expertise to make a significant impact and drive it to the next level!

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Implement with the project team a good SAP set-up for finance (accounting, controlling, etc) ensuring proper a smooth integration during the factory ramp-up phase, and proper financial flows and closing
  • Manage an external accounting company during the ramp-up period (<1 year), ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records
  • Assist in the annual financial cycle including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, budgeting, and reforecasting. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Support the implementation of manufacturing follow-up (costing, variance analysis, BSC implementation, routings, etc)
  • In the second phase, after the ramp-up period is stabilized, monitor and track the financial performance of the manufacturing site, push for improvements, ensure compliance with annual targets, and identify gaps between forecasts and actual figures  
  • You will report to the Controlling O&SC director


  • Core Skills/Experience
  • Master’s Degree in Finance or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in Financial / Business Controlling with a strong focus on industrial/manufacturing environments  
  • A strong accounting background is needed
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and strong financial industrial background (costing, routings, BOM, variance analysis…)
  • Proficiency in SAP, preferably S4Hana
  • Great Excel and BI tools knowledge 
  • Experience managing outsourced resources and coordinating effectively with external accounting teams
  • Highly rigorous and detail-oriented with a proactive and autonomous approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, building strong relationships with operational teams and external partners
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly
