The role covers all aspects of collection activities from cash collection, account management, and customer relations. Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the analysis, the building of client relationships, and collection of a large portfolio of Customer Accounts with the objective of reducing and minimizing past due balances.
  • Make outbound contacts with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Implementation of permanent account administration and account analysis
  • Implementation of credit/account management, ascertainment of the payment patterns, and if necessary, implementation of corrective measures.
  • Ensure debt and cash targets are met on a quarterly/monthly basis
  • Ensure all ledgers are kept clean and reconciled
  • Ensure full compliance at all times
  • Support with the implementation of any process automation

Core Skills/experience

  • Business Administration or Finance Degree desired 
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in a finance or accounts role is a plus
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Financial & commercial awareness / good numerical skills
  • Committed approach to team work
  • Resilient under pressure and able to adapt quickly to unforeseen work demands
  • Adaptable to a changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • SAP experience is a plus
