Are you an experienced Backend Developer? 

Would you be interested in working in one of Europe’s leading consumer electronics retailer companies based in the heart of Barcelona?

You will work with a talented crew of software engineers in a cross-functional team. You will design and develop solutions on the cloud-based technology platform as part of the team and closely collaborate with the business product owner.

Main Responsibilities

• You will create and run services related to marketing and business

• Microservices are what you'll create and, ideally, develop from the front end to the database

• You guarantee software quality with a suitable level of test coverage

• You guarantee efficient functioning

• Teach and teach less experienced team members in pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Work with agile software development approaches like SCRUM, Kanban, and pair programming in your team

• You create it, you run it, and you repair it


Core Skills/experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.

• Experienced and deep knowledge of  Spring Boot

• At least four years of relevant experience in the sales field developing agile and digital products.

• You are comfortable dealing with databases like Oracle or Mongo DB and possess extensive understanding of Java and React/Kotlin.

• You are passionate about creating products

• You want to work in a team to develop large software systems; and It would be great if you could have knowledge and experience with e-commerce, microservices, NoSQL databases (like MongoDB), REST, SpringBoot, DevOps, TerraForm, Docker, and Kubernetes; and cloud environments (preferably GCP).

• It's helpful if you have experience with Typescript and React.
