Discover more about science in CosmoCaixa Museum, an interactive and creative museum where you can learn about geography, biology, astrology and technology, among other disciplines, in a fun way. There are many temporal exhibitions, which you should definitely check out. It is a must if you have kids!
If you think that Pedrera or Casa Batlló are the most amazing buildings in Barcelona, just wait! It might be because you are yet to visit the modernist hospital of Sant Pau. Without a doubt, the most iconic park in Barcelona is Parc de la Ciutadella. But, that does not mean that it is the only one. If you enjoy exploring the city on foot, our recommendation is the Gardens of Pedralbes. You will not only be able to enjoy the beautiful nature, but also the ancient Royal Palace. It conveys a majestic vibe as its architecture goes a couple centuries back.
If you are passionate about airplanes and/or photography, Mirador del Prat could be the perfect spot for you. From there, you can enjoy the perfect view of every airplane that takes off and lands in Barcelona – El Prat airport.
From the air to the sea, in Badalona’s beach you will find the Petrol’s Bridge which is a 250m long platform that goes into the sea and lets you see a panoramic view of the city and the sea. It is so impressive that it has also appeared in some commercials. Additionally, at the beginning of the bridge, you will find a monkey who will offer you something… but you will need to go to see what it is!
Lastly, if you are as passionate about beer as Catalans, you could taste some of the most delicious Catalan beer at their own breweries. The most known one is L’Àntiga Fàbrica d’Estrella Damm which is now used as a venue for concerts and private events.
