Our client is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of precision instruments that are used in laboratory, industrial and food retailing applications. The company has a strong worldwide leadership position. They focus on the high value-added segments of their markets by providing innovative instruments that often integrate various technologies including application-specific solutions for customers and help clients gather valuable data.

Main Responsibilities

The core focus of the role will be to research advertising and website layout trends that will generate more page traffic and obtain a high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines. You will also research and share industry innovations and trends and possess a strong stakeholder management ability to work cross-functionally and encourage the adoption of SEO best practices 

  • Work with products teams to drive SEO in content creation and content research
  • Conduct online and live training to educate publishers on how to create optimized content 
  • Perform ongoing keyword expansion including identification and implementation of keyword opportunities
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Works closely with internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and execute SEO strategies with the purpose of exceeding lead generation goals
  • Develop comprehensive recommendations for on- and off-page content optimization
  • Analyze performance data, formulate insights, and translate them to actionable next steps
  • Assist with building and maintaining project management processes that streamline SEO initiatives 
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals 
  • Keep pace with SEO, global search engines, and internet marketing industry trends and developments

Core Skills/experience

  • Fluent level of English (an additional language would be an advantage (preferably German, French or Italian). 
  • 1-4 years of experience within SEO 
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console and Excel is a must
  • Affinity for keyword research, keyword clustering, and CTR optimization 
  • Working experience in the following tools is a plus: AHREFS, JIRA, DeepCrawl, AEM
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively drive improvement of digital KPIs via a strong analytical mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail & accuracy
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a cross-cultural team
